I’m Alex.
I help people remember who they are.
I spent more than fifteen years on medications for depression and anxiety. Doctors said I would need them for good. I kept thinking there had to be more to life, and feeling like it was becoming increasingly dark.
I tried everything… Diet and lifestyle changes, martial arts, meditation, yoga, spiritual practices. I went deeply seeking and chased transcendence, thinking I needed to rise above my darkness. What I found was more separation, only wearing a different mask.
Depths of depression and practices to heal have made me who I am.
Once I got off all medications and thought everything had changed, things shifted even more as I stopped trying to transcend.
Shining light onto my own shadows with compassion instead of fighting them, inner presence led to profound transformation.
By shining the light within and illuminating the darkest parts of our being, we become present with life happening through our thoughts, feelings, emotions, and physical sensations. We grow and evolve by simply being with it all.
I’ve learned from a transformational coach that the doorway isn’t transcendence. It's letting heart lead the way; home to yourself as you are. My work now is to share presence and help others shine light within themselves, to reflect it brightly outward to the world.

We sit together without judgement. We go inward with meditation.
We get clear, feel, breathe, move, play, pray, sing, and live with joy.
I draw from nature, yoga, martial arts, writing, photography, music, and creative expression.
I offer compassionate presence for you to see yourself again - with respect.
We look at the stories you tell yourself, patterns you hold, and ways you’ve abandoned yourself for attractions or aversions. We practice opening to what is, and being with it all.
